I did, and reinstalled it again. I installed the standard 4.38.23171 for the 2nd time to make sure I install the right version. To check that I am getting at least some effect from the patch I checked the font size before installing the patch.

Then I installed the patch for the second time, and saw that the font went back to the right size, but those 4 patches I listed in my 1st post still did not work
