Hello everyone,

First post to this forum as I was suggested to come here for help with my possibly bricked kobo mini. Sorry if anything of this sort was already asked and resolved.

I found my old kobo mini that I probably haven’t used in years. Plugged it in and the LED light at the top turned green and I let it charge for a day or so but the screen stayed blank and didn’t display whether it was charging or not.

I tried booting it up and the light turned green then blue before the screen flashed black a couple times before becoming blank once more. Repeated that a couple more times to the same result. I then removed the back plate and tried a had reset by sticking a paper clip in the little reset hole. Still, nothing happened and the blank screen remained. Connecting it to my laptop has not worked as my laptop doesn’t even detect it, though the LED still turns green so I know the kobo at least has a functional battery. I’m kind of at a loss of what to do.

Any suggestions on how to fix it? Is it even repairable? Any and all help is welcomed. Thanks for your time.
