I finally chose a Kobo and when I went to Kobo's website to purchase it, the Canadian Postal Service is on strike starting today, 11/15/2024. People with street addresses in Canada will get their delivery first, and people with Canadian P.O. boxes are out of luck because there will be "no sorting of mail or parcels and some post offices will be closed".

It does not say what will happen to other countries' orders. Like U.S. orders.
The weird thing is that none of the main pages on their website mention it. I found it on the HELP page.
I also noticed that Kobos are not sold with a power adapter. Just a cable.
How do I charge it? Kobo sells the 10V power adapter but they are out of stock.
I guess I can use a power bank? I do not understand batteries. How much is too much for charging electronic devices? Watts? Volts? Amps? Etc.
I can buy Kobos at Walmart and BlueProton (Amazon), but if they are directly ordered from Kobo, then it may take a while to get my order. I have no idea if Walmart or Amazon warehouses have them in stock.
Maybe I should wait for Black Friday.
