actually you don't need to assemble an icon theme for personal use, you can just place the images you want to replace in Calibre resources folder.
On windows that would be
Code:
%APPDATA%\calibre\resources\images
or
Code:
%UserProfile%\appdata\Roaming\calibre\resources\images
That's what I was doing up until recently but eventually I decided to make this pack
