Perhaps I am wrong but I thought that KOReader used Stardict format dictionaries which would only need to be unpacked into the dictionary directory (on a Kobo, .adds/koreader/data/dict/ ) so you should not need Pyglossary unless you are converting to use with Kobo's stock renderer.

I found a wikidict En-Fr (70481 words) and a Babylon En-Fr (149834 words) which I compressed into a single .zip file. If you copy the files from the two folders in the .zip file into the .adds/koreader/data/dict/ directory on your Kobo, you should be able to use them. I've attached the .zip file, a screenshot of the Manage Installed Dictionaries screen to this message and an image of the directory. Note that KOReader adds the <filename>.idx.oft file.
