Some people on Reddit are saying the Scribe update (5.17.1.0.1) has fixed the issue with custom fonts not 'sticking'. I never had the issue, so cannot confirm this.

However, when I installed it on one of my Scribes, it replaced the custom font I was using in one of my Themes with Bookerly. (this after announcing a 'new' font: Bookerly! want to try it? A: not now) I had to edit the theme to restore the custom font.

In Settings/Device options, 'Whispersync for Books and Notebooks' is now just 'Sync'.

And I ran into issue downloading a new print replica document: it showed in download filter but without downloaded checkmark and would not open. Restart fixed it.
