Kobo Vox K080: my first Kobo

That’s definitely ancient. I found a press release on their site from 13 years ago: https://www.kobo.com/news/kobo-expan...social-ereader

More importantly, I found the user guide online for you. http://download.kobobooks.com/learnm...user_guide.pdf

The world’s first social ereader. Not all of Kobo‘s ideas have worked out for them over the years, but I always appreciate them taking chances. I wonder if anybody on this forum today used or knew somebody that used one of those ereaders. I’m curious how the social aspect worked out.

I used the Kobo app on my iPad and didn’t pay attention to Kobo ereaders back then, so I didn’t even hear about the Vox until a few years ago when I saw one pop up on eBay.

I still use my Kobo mini to read. It’s the one I take with me on summer hikes and rides. You might find the Vox more useful than you imagine if you can get up and running.
