I'm kind of sad about it, but I will get over it... I only notice it when they are observed together side by side... Hers really is strikingly white... the closest to a white sheet of paper I have seen on any device...
David, another question... after I had Koreader working, I wanted to go back to stock to look at my pocket articles — and I clicked Exit... when I did that, it rebooted, and loaded stock with no way back into Koreader and my My Books was filled with hundreds of little images for navigation elements...
Could this be because I didn't put the Kobo eReader.conf file in the right place?? If you remember, I put it in the root, not inside the .kobo subdirectory...
I ended up formatting to factory specs...
I'm a little torn.. I loved the landscape mode, but the little details like changing brightness by sliding up and down on the left edge of screen is far smoother on stock than on koreader... I don't mind the dense interface, but koreader does seem to be less elegant in responsing to touch...
Is this common? Is there a way to improve this? Is kobopatch on top of stock? Would using this preserve the "elegance" of the stock interface? Do you know if I can set orientation using kobopatch?
I haven't read up on this, so perhaps I should before asking the question — but I was here, so... ;-)
