I'm even more lost than before... I can't extract the zip TO another folder because I am on a Chromebook... I took screen shots of the two file directories (the stock clara bw mounted with hidden files shown and the unzipped contents of the OCP-KOReader-v2024.07.zip file with hidden files shown) — but I can't figure out how to upload images to my post. I read the post by Dr. Drib, but nothing mentioned there is showing on the webpage, and another post that mentioned "If the 'manage attachments' button does not appear (BELOW the writing window), hit 'Go Advanced'", also, none of which show on the webpage.
I just don't know what to do. The bottom line is that as I seem to have to copy the folders/files over manually, I don't know what to do with the .kobo folder, the original of which is at the foot directory of the mounted device, and another in the unzipped folder mentioned above with KoboRoot.tgz inside.
I don't know what to do with these files, and I really don't want to end up bricking my new device.
Really hoping someone will take me by the hand and help me get across this street...
