Out of curiosity where did you get the idea that a Kobo would take a screenshot by touching opposite corners?

That aside, to enable screenshots on a Kobo ereader, you need to edit the Kobo eReader.conf file found in the Kobo directory inside the .kobo directory. Locate the [FeatureSettings] heading and add a line reading Screenshots=true under it.

Your Kobo will now take a screenshot when you tap the power button.

My personal preference is to use NickelMenu to enable/disable screenshots since when screenshots are enabled, the power button can not be used to wake the Kobo from sleep which is a pain when you do not use a sleep cover.
