Out of curiosity, may I ask why? I don't observe it--I live in Arizona, where, by and large (outside of The Nation), we don't observe DST either. So the world "moves" around us; half the year, I'm in the same time as California (Pacific Daylight Savings) and half the year, I'm an hour ahead (Standard). It gets a bit annoying and confusing, but we manage.
But why do you
love it? I do think saying that everybody "hates" it is probably an overstatement; I know folks hate having to do the fall back, yadda, stuff for a day or so but it's a relatively minor change in that arena.
