In case of the USB port is damaged it is possible to fix it easily, you just have to ask someone to solder it back (or another one) properly.

As I don't really have high hopes about future models I went completely wireless - except the charging of course - to preserve the physical condition of my Libra 2 as long as possible.

You can also transfer books wirelessly from your computer, you just need a wifi router on the same network.
