Any other suggestions on a kindle stuck on "Your kindle is restarting"? I've tried the long press restart, screen brightens and led flashes green a few times but nothing else happens. I've tried that while charging, while plugged into PC, while unplugged. I tried charging it from the MAINS for over 24 hours. The LED never turned green. The PC makes a sound when I plug it in but the drive doesn't pop up in This PC and it's not listed under the eject options.
I'm pretty sure it's bricked but any other suggestions would be welcome. My last chance is to drain the battery and see if that changes something. That will take a while though.
