Unstable USB-C connection

Hi

My Libra 2 is a couple of years old now. When I connect to my Mac M1 mini, I'd get periodic disconnect and Mac reports "unsafe ejection" or something like that. I've tried different ports and cables. Some seem worse than others, but none is stable. I don't remember if this was how it was in the beginning, but it's been happening for a while.

The port doesn't feel physically loose. The connection is still nice and tight and there is a firm click.

Is this common with the libra/kobo? I hope the port isn't going bad. I use Plato and sideload everything.

thanks
