Unfortunately, filling up the space won't work for me because I mainly use sendtokindle (the only thing that made me stay with Amazon, apart from the atrocious availability and pricing of Kobos here). I've tried to fill up my Kindle before with just barely a gb left, and it made it horrendously slow.

And blocking stuff with my router is also a bust unless I buy a new one. The router my ISP provides is so bare bones it barely has any functions
And if I'm buying a new router, I might as well fork over cash to buy an overpriced Kobo device here.
