Hi everybody,
I’ve been trying to sync my highlights in KOReader between a Boox Air and a Boox Palma, using Syncthing to synchronize the .sdr files.
I even tried copying and pasting the same file and books manually, but I couldn’t find a way to sync them between the two devices.
Could it be due to different display formats, which cause the page count to differ between devices?
If you look at the .lua file containing all the metadata, you’ll notice that every highlight is associated with a page number that is relative to the specific device.
The same problem arises when exporting, since every device will count pages differently. This makes it troublesome to edit all the highlights and unify them later.
I’d love to understand this topic better since I find KOReader amazing, and I’d really like to have all my books synced.
(Reading position is already synced with no issues.)
