Nothing will happen after battery gets drained. Once you connect it to a charger if will just resume that never ending bootloop. Connect it to a computer via USB cable and check if between 2 restarts Kindle manages to export its storage. If it doesn't it's done for, nothing for you to do other than contact Amazon support and see if you can get a replacement unit.
That "killed by a reboot" happened already to bunch of people.
It happened to me 2 times, both times were PW5s ( = Kindle Paperwhite 11th Gen).
