I have a Clara BW with a Carta 1300 and rapid page turns aren't nearly as impressive. The text gets mushed and mixed when I rapidly turn pages.
In the end though, it's kind of a trick without a purpose. How often do I rapidly flick through a book? And when I do, does the state of text on the screen for a part of a second really matter?

I think I saw the same video. It made me think I might be able to get used to a reader without buttons. I bought my PW3 after my Voyage died. I didn’t like it because the page turns seemed slow. I would tap to turn the page and think it didn’t work so I would tap again and turn multiple pages. I wonder if the Colorsoft will be as fast as the Paperwhite on plain black and white pages.
I know that color is not necessary for just reading books, but I love looking at my colorful covers on my iPad.
