They have kept the form factor the same as the new covers fit both 2022 and 2024 models.
The description calls it Kindle Scribe 1st generation - 2024 release. I think the internals are essentially the same, the only change is the cosmetic bezel redesign (which probably removes the 'gap' as well).

The new features will be coming to the existing Scribe as well. I'm not going to upgrade just for a new bezel.
