With the forthcoming software improvements they've given Scribe new life and I'm glad they've given current Scribe owners no reason to upgrade.
I don't know if i'd call it a much better experience just cause the text is readable instead of having to zoom "manually". Reading comics "panel by panel" with panel view can't be considered a decent solution for me... You just need a bigger e-ink.
I'd also prefer an extra function than not but i doubt they really resolved the problems coming with a color model so don't think it's worth the higher price for what it's gonna offer.
