
Today Amazon announced the first E Ink Kindle with a colour display, the Kindle Colorsoft.
They also announced updated versions of the basic Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Paperwhite SE, and Kindle Scribe.
The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition uses a 7" 300dpi B&W/150dpi colour screen, probably a version of the eInk Kaleido display, comes with 32GB storage, auto-adjusting frontlight, wireless charging, USB-C, and is IPX8 waterproof. £269.99/$279.99
The basic Kindle has a 6" screen, higher contract, faster page turns and 25% greater maximum brightness. It comes in Matcha or Black only. £94.99/$109.99
Kindle Kids as Kindle, with extras: £114.99
The Kindle Paperwhite has a 7" display with higher contrast, 25% faster page turns, an auto-adjusting front light and 16GB of storage. It comes in three colours: Raspberry, Jade or Charcoal. From £159.99/$159.99
The Kindle Paperwhite SE has the same features with the addition of optional wireless charging and 32GB of storage. It comes in three colours: Metallic Raspberry, Metallic Jade or Metallic Charcoal. £189.99/$199.99
The Kindle Scribe has white borders around the screen, which has a new paper-like texture, and an AI feature to summarize English text.£379.99/$399.99
