Unless the internal µSD card is having issues, you should be able to download the latest firmware updates from Patrick Gaskin's Kobo Firmware Downloads, extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file, connect your Kobo to your computer using a USB cable, copy the upgrades directory and KoboRoot.tgz and manifest.md5sum files to the .kobo directory on your Kobo and then safely eject it.

Thank You for the advice. I have no trouble updating the Kobo firmware. I am interested in expanding the storage capacity by installing a larger Micro SD card. But I seem to have problems successfully writing the cloned images to a larger card, on my Win11 or Win10 pc. I haven't figured yet why, but I seem to have no problem cloning your Kobo card images successfully. Any advice to address this issue would be appreciated. In the meantime, your Kobo card images save the day!
Thanks Again!
