Hi everyone! I am new to this community, but glad I found it. Hopefully this is the correct spot to post.

From what I gathered I cannot at the moment modify the Kobo Colour firmware because it has secureboot now due to the change in architecture. Also, because the firmware is onboard and not as easy to get access to.

Previously these were on accessible SD cards? (This is my first so it sounds like that)

Can we install custom or official apps?

If we can install custom apps where do i find them and how do I get some sort of way into developing them?

Any other tips I should know?
