Except that for every person with this problem, there are maybe 100 who do not have any problem (I have seen it exactly one time and never since, on 3 different Kindles) and do not have any reason to come here and complain or comment.

I have tried to figure out the common denominator of what causes the problem but I cannot reproduce it.

The onus is on the people with the problem to share all details (e.g. listing of /fonts folder, how themes are set up, is there pattern with amazon books vs side-loaded vs send-to-kindle).
