I have had a least 10 authors I really liked pass in the last 4 years. In a selfish kind of way, its very sad. So many series that there will never be another book. Also probably 30 of my current favorite authors are 70 or older. So I am anticipating more of the same. lol. seeing as I am going to be in these age range soon no guarantee I will be around to read them anyway

I find this age range tends more genre's I like or mindsets that are simpatico. Though that isn't at all to say that a lot of younger authors aren't. However The deeper political and even most of the better character driven writers tend to be older with more life experience.
