Think about an Boox Note Air 3 or similar

I'm currently using a Kindle Scribe. Almost 100% of my use is for reading books and PDFs. I use the pen to markup the PDFs, usually by circling typos or other changes I make to the PDF.

The problem with this is, those markups live on the Kindle Scribe. There is no way to get them off and view them on my computer or my iPad.

But if I markup a PDF on my iPad, I can see those markups on my computer when I open the PDF on it.

If I get an Onyx Boox, and I markup a PDF, is there a way to see the markups I have done on my computer without having the Boox around?
