Why does EVERYTHING have to have an AI feature?

I regularly use an ad blocker. I want an AI blocker.

Just to keep AI feature from creeping into software I use for very standard stuff. Like Adobe Reader for PDFs, it now has an AI feature that keeps trying to put itself under my mouse pointer. I want to make it disappear until I explicitly WANT it to be invoked.

And similar stuff that appears whenever I need to log in to Windows, after putting it to sleep for the night.

Etc.

An AI tool in an application where it *should* be used is ok, as long as I can make it hidden until needed. An AI tool in an application where I will NEVER invoke it should be able to be completely disabled.
