Mac Catalyst is an Apple technology that lets developers port their iPadOS apps to MacOS with minimal effort. This appears to be what Amazon has used. It's Amazon's choice which menu options they want to provide in the app menu, but it is extra work for them (there is no equivalent app menu in iPadOS).
