This is a doubly ironic problem since one of the MAJOR new improved features of the K2 was the improved battery life - BUT - other features (like the clock and sorting of titles) absolutely relies on having Whispernet on - which removes the new advantage of longer battery life. Kind of a vicious circle ain't it?

I've had the K2 out of EVDO range for 5 weeks and while I could not fix the timezone, "Most Recent First" worked fine until the K2 hung and I had to reboot away from EVDO. Apparently, after a reboot, the K2 thinks it's 1970 until EVDO corrects it. I'm still on 2.01, though.
I believe I can correct this with USB networking tricks, but I'm pushing Amazon support for a fix, so maybe they'll understand that this is a significant problem.
