Edl is a tool. It's working fine.
If you do not use it to actively change anything then things will remain the same.

The question is: What is the problem and what action(s) should you take?

Do you want to do a "factory reset"? You will lose all data on it.

If you had enabled ADB before this happened it would be much easier to figure it out.
