I just noticed that when checking out a book at Kindle US, there was an option to just apply my Kindle Rewards points directly, without having to go through the "get a $3 credit for 300 points" thing. I like this a lot better for a couple of reasons. First, because I was able to redeem 199 points for a $1.99 book, without having to have built up 300 points. And second, because when you have a digital credit, then all the prices shown subtract the value of the credit, making everything look cheaper. So you really have to pay attention when you have a digital credit in your account.

Has anyone else seen this? I'll try to attach an image.

If this is a "trial" thing - I hope they keep it.

And it was a big six or big five or whatever they are now - big publisher - book...
