When you remove it, it doesn’t leave residue!
They use a special glue on the film, which you need to apply using their included spray. It works really good for screens! They heal all bubbles and wet residue overnight and looks pristine afterwards. So I imagine they would a great fit for plastic surface as well.

Only concern I might have in mind is again these grooves (dots) on the back of the Clara BW. They might trap this spray, or maybe evaporate but longer - I don’t know.
