Device: Kobo Libra 2
Kobo Libra 2 Comfortlight color temperature

Hello, Im new to the forum, thank you for having a developers corner

device: libra 2
current firmware: 4.38.21908 (8-22-2023)

Ive done some reading and searching, but was unable to locate what im trying to do, so forgive me if this exists in a patch or modification thread somewhere.

Im wanting to extend the color temperature range of the comfortlight, without patching the device if possible. I see in the
Code:
.kobo/Kobo/Kobo eReader.conf
an entry
Code:
ColorSetting=1500
, is it possible to just change this to 1000 to extend the color temperature to make the screen very warm, practically red when using comfortlight at the maximum setting?

At night in a very dark room, the current maximum setting looks too blue and hurts my eyes. I know a very red setting would relieve this as I use similar warm temp ranges (1000-1200) on the computer at night when working late.

Also if a kobo firmware update achieves this that would be better, and ill update.

Thank you
