Unfortunately, Barcey, I don't think anyone would have a leg to stand on, legally. MobiPocket can licence their reader on whatever terms they wish, and there's nothing illegal about "exclusivity" clauses in contracts - they are very common.

You and I may feel that it would be in Amazon's own interests to "share" with other DRM methods but, at the end of the day, if they choose to require DRM exclusivity, it's their right to do so.
