But NickelSeries does not transfer all the metadata over. It does series/series ID (ePub3 or calibre)and subtitle (either ePub3 or calibre custom column named #subtitle) if they are embedded in the ePub. I sent quite a few more bits of metadata so NickelSeries is not useful to me and likely never will be since quite a bit of the metadata I use does not have a standard ePub3 metadata format.

For me, eject, wait for import to complete, tap on NickelMenu => USB connect, let the connection run and when job count reaches 0, safely eject.
