You might take a moment and make a plan (to suite your style).
I clean titles:
I made a custom Sub Title column. If it IS REALLY a sub, I move that there.
I bin: A Mystery, A novel...
Other things I do:

singular Series names. eg Series_name MYSTERY ...
I choose to Hierarchy Series and Tags (I use the branch for the Index) Pern.Harper hall [1]
And the one thing that is almost allways Manual I prefer the IMPRINT in the publishers column. Berkley Prime Crime and Not Penguin Group
