Kobo app from iPad and Kobo reader

I read on both the Kobo iPad app and a Kobo ereader. The iPad with its millions of colors and faster processor is a beautiful reading app. I used to read manga exclusively on the Kobo iPad app, but now that I have a Libra Colour, I’ve been reading manga on it instead. Once the novelty of a color ereader wears off, I’ll probably return to reading manga on the iPad since the screen is larger and higher resolution.

As for comparing the interface between the app and an ereader, I would say that the iPad app is much nicer, crisper, faster, and with more beautiful typography. That’s not a surprise, is it? 😁 But the iPad won’t go for weeks between charges like the ereader can, and the Kobo ereader doesn’t bombard you with distractions and notifications.
