Yes, I set that when I set Calibre up to manage collections a few months ago. Pehaps naïvely, I thought that would be all that was needed

You send your eBooks to the Kobo. Then you eject the Kobo. The eBooks import to the database. Then you have to reconnect for the rest of the metadata such as series and collections to be sent to the Kobo. For the extra metadata to be sent, it needs to have the eBooks already in the database.

If you install and configure NickelMenu, you will not have to unplug the USB cable for a sending connection tot he computer. Go to the NickelMenu thread and have a read. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=329525
