Has anyone experienced this failure mode? If so, how did you recover from it? I do see some sibling threads about using wpa_client to attempt connections, although those are mostly for WEAP connections.
I am resisting tinkering further in hopes that other pro™ users whom may have experienced a similar failure mode may have knowledge on how to transition out of "not-connected" to "connected". I read that a factory reset can be hazardous too based on what f/w you're on and which jailbreak method was used (I used the "usual K4 JailBreak" on 4.0).
Lastly, if you're such a pro™ kindle hacker, let me know if there are logs I can extract off of the usbms to try and see why the handshake failed. Sadly, ssh over USB hasn't been working from my mac--I had to go straight to wifi ssh to my kindle. I will try and recover my linux box to ease troubleshooting.
