I just saw that v7.17 states in the release notes "Update the version of the Qt toolkit bundled with calibre to the latest available, fixing some crashes on macOS related to accessibility tools". In the Resources bundle, it looks like it's using Qt 6.7.2.

So I'll certainly try this out, see how it goes, and report back. Thank you so much!
