Found this on another forum:
Mine got stuck 2 days ago, and trying any of the official guides didn't work for me... What did work was holding the button for 4 seconds, and immediately after releasing the button pressing it quickly again.
Personally when mine has frozen leaving it on charge for a little while then trying to start it again works. Doesn't happen very often at all. Mine is 5 years old and has been heavily used.
