I just got myself the Go 10.3. I've still to use it for a longer period, but just trying it out with some epubs and manga to test the screen - it has really good contrast.
I don't really need the frontlight, so I'm happy to trade it for a better screen.
I'm going to use the writing functionality, but it could obviously be used just as a reader. I don't think there is anything simpler out there at the moment with a screen near as good.
