Yes Kaeido 3 is being used. But that doesn't mean that it's fit for purpose. it's really not. If you are going to be reading a lot of books with just text, you'll find that it won't look all that good because the screen is rather dark.

When someone’s made a purchase, and most especially as in this case when they’ve made an informed purchase, no purpose is served by negativity. It’s done. In any case, even if it wouldn’t suit you, it’s obvious from the parameters in the OP (“a dash of colour …. would be helpful”) that Kaleido 3 is sufficient. Skip the condolences, please.
