You didn't have to ask about if it's broken.
The item you bought is simply not the one advertised. Contact eBay.
I don't know where do you live but some countries have 'special' laws regarding Internet/Mail-Order/Phone transactions. They let you return the product within for instance 10 days without reason for a full refund.
