I am not sure many are arguing the device is an e-reader.

I think Apple is more interested in pushing a tablet to beat all tablets, and it may be pushed as a gaming device.

But, at 10", I'd guess that enough users will also do some casual reading on the device, particularly if it has good PDF support. Some are now using the iPhone, even though it has only a 3.5" screen - the bigger screen would certainly make it more usable, particularly for stuff like travel guides, where most current e-readers are practically useless.

And if it has OLED (I doubt it, but who knows,) it would have considerably better battery life, as well as image, compared with LCD devices.

I am wondering, if this device may have been an impetus (together with the iPhone/iPod, of course,) on Amazon's Stanza purchase.
