Have you deauthorised your original ADE installation? If not, it might be worth doing so. IIRC, you're only allowed a very limited number of authorisations (two? three?), and you don't want to lose any.
(Part of the reason that I went with an anonymous authorisation for my DeACSM installation is that I've lost one of my "real" account authorisations as a result of laptop death. AFAIK, it's not possible to remotely deauthorise apps, but the ADE installation on my old laptop is now inaccessible.)
