This is very helpful, but I think I might be at the end of my hacking attempts with multilingual books. I have a Kindle registered in Japan, and I use it for my Japanese content. I can buy some English books there and it's not such a problem. But for French and Spanish, I'm kind of at a loss.
I think I'm just going to buy a second Kindle Paperwhite for French and tie it to my amazon.fr account for French content. One Kindle for Japanese and some English, and another for French, and a third one for Spanish. *sigh*.
