Thanks for confirming the source of these books. For whatever reason I wasn't able to actually see the books in either Calibre or the Kobo UI so I did a factory reset, did the normal registration and then logged out, enabled sideloaded mode and they are gone. Not sure which of those steps did the trick but it's all good now. Thanks again!
