Reviewed as "Sapphic version of the Count of Monte Cristo". Starts with riots and has state sanctioned torture. Second in that "storyverse" but standalone. So maybe just the SF setting of previous book, lesbian romance and plot of "The Count of Monte Cristo".

At 99c € on Kobo you can make up your own mind cheaply.
