After you place the KUAL file in the documents folder, KUAL will appear as a document on your Kindle's home screen. To open it, you just need to select it. Search commands aren't needed.
If KUAL won't open, you may need to install MKK (Mobileread Kindlet Kit).
The Python download should include a README file with instructions for installing it. I believe all you need to do is place the installation file that's labeled "k4" in your Kindle's root directory and then use the "Update Your Kindle" option in the settings.
